★Adachi Fireworks 2026 Information
The 2026 Adachi Fireworks Festival will be held on aturday, May 30.
The times are 19:20 to 20:20.
The fireworks are launched from the Arakawa Riverbed. The viewing areas are generally divided into paid and free sections. Paid seats offer the best center view and eliminate the need for early spot reserving.
Here are some recommended free areas:
Although the Kita-Senju side is the main venue, the Umejima side (opposite bank) is recommended because it is generally less crowded and offers wider viewing space. To fully experience the wide starmines, secure a spot facing the launch site directly. The area near Gate 20 on the Umejima side of the riverbed (near the baseball field) is often available later and allows for relaxed viewing.
You can view the fireworks from bridges over the Arakawa River or surrounding hills, but the intensity will be reduced due to the distance. However, this is recommended for those who want to avoid the main crowd or reserve a spot later.
The map below shows the launch site and main venue areas, based on past events and brochures.
※Crowd conditions may change. Please follow the instructions of security staff and be aware that some areas may be restricted. Always check the official website before heading out.

The nearest stations to this fireworks event are JR/Tobu/Tokyo Metro Kita-Senju Station, Tobu Line Kosuge Station, and Gotanno Station.
There is no temporary parking available near the venue. Please use public transportation.
Approximately 13,000 fireworks are launched.
The maximum size of the shells launched is 4.8 inch shells.
The pyrotechnician responsible for this event is Hokuriku Kako (北陸火工).
This fireworks festival has four main attractions:
Adachi Fireworks launches its 13,000 shots in a concentrated one-hour program, making it one of the most intense and fast-paced shows. The dense, high-speed program is the hallmark of Adachi Fireworks.
Due to regulations, the festival is limited to smaller 4.8inch shell shells. However, this allows viewing from a much closer distance than festivals with larger shells. As the saying goes among fans, "**Closer is Justice**." The fireworks feel huge, bursting overhead and filling your field of view, creating an exhilarating experience. The show features effective use of both vertical and horizontal space.
Hokuriku Kako (from Ishikawa Prefecture) is the pyrotechnician. A feature of their fireworks is the shimmering effect, known as "KiraKira" (golden glitter), which pulses with a gorgeous golden light. This effect is used extensively in the finale. They are also known for unique, creative designs, including timed-burst fireworks that change colors rapidly and shapes like stylized shrimp tempura.
The finale is a famous program set to Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance, utilizing the full width of the Arakawa River for a spectacular performance. The climactic final burst of golden fireworks (*Nishiki Kamuro*) fills the sky, creating a breathtaking moment. After the finale, time is set aside for the audience to shout "Thank you!" and wave cell phone lights to express appreciation to the pyrotechnicians, creating a memorable collective experience.
