Schedule / Dates

The 2025 Odaiba Rainbow Fireworks will be held on December 6, 13, 20, 24, and 27.
The starting time is 19:00 to 19:05.
Music Fireworks are scheduled for December 20th.

Viewing Spots / Locations

The fireworks are launched off the coast near the Statue of Liberty. They can generally be seen from anywhere along the coastline.
Here are a few spots; please use the map below to help you find a location.

① Near the Water Bus Terminal

The area near the water bus terminal is a wooden deck, so you don't have to worry about sand. It is relatively close to the launch site, and speakers are often set up here for music synchronization days.
It gets crowded, but spaces are usually still available 10–20 minutes before the start time. The photos used on this page were taken from this spot.

② West Promenade

This space between Aqua City Odaiba and Hilton is bright with streetlights and has a romantic atmosphere. The fireworks launch directly in front of you.
This area tends to be crowded, but speakers are installed here on music synchronization days.

③ Hilton Seaside and Rocky Area

This location has a rocky shoreline. The fireworks launch directly in front, offering a beautiful view of the barges reflected in the water, competing with the fireworks.
However, trees can obstruct the view, making only the very front the best position. If it's too crowded, look for another location.

④ Beach Area

Since it's sand, you might get sand on your shoes, but the area is spacious and usually less crowded, allowing for a relaxed viewing experience. The fireworks may be slightly further away.

⑤ Shibaura Minami Futo Park

This is directly behind the fireworks launch site. You can enjoy the fireworks against the backdrop of the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo skyline, creating a beautiful night scene.
It is less crowded, but the distance to the fireworks is greater, so the sense of immersion is lower.

⑥ Other Spots

You can also view them from Telecom Center or Fuji TV's observation deck. Dining at a restaurant inside Aqua City Odaiba or Decks Tokyo Beach that offers a night view is another option for a comfortable viewing experience.

Highlights / Attractions

Held Weekly, Easy to Attend

This fireworks event has become an established winter tradition in Odaiba during December. Being held every Saturday and also on Christmas Eve, it is easy to plan a visit. With five dates scheduled, you can choose the day that suits you best.

Concentrated Show in Just Five Minutes

A unique feature of this event is that the fireworks are condensed into a spectacular five-minute show. The display primarily focuses on continuous Starmines, tightly packed into a compact display. As the coastal area is cold during winter, this short duration is ideal for viewing. The show is packed with exciting moments and fun direction.

Fireworks by Marutamaya Ogatsu Fireworks

Marutamaya Ogatsu Fireworks is in charge of the launch. Their fireworks are known for their bright, deep colors and clear, large grains. Their sparkling fireworks resemble Christmas illuminations, making them perfect for a December show. You may also see color-changing timed-burst fireworks and shaped fireworks, like reindeer or Santa!

Music Synchronization

Music-synchronized fireworks are held annually on the Saturday right before Christmas. This show features fireworks synchronized to Christmas songs, offering a moving and elaborately directed display. The event is scheduled for December 20th; plan your visit for that date!

Night View & Fireworks: A Romantic Moment

The Odaiba fireworks are unique because they are set against the backdrop of the city lights and the Rainbow Bridge. While fireworks against a dark canvas are beautiful, the Tokyo lights create a wonderfully romantic scene. Photographers should try to capture the foreground (water/barges), the subject (fireworks), and the background (night view) beautifully.
